It is June 2008, and we are ramping up for Park Rock Fest '08! Final band schedules are on the site, please see the schedules under "Stages/Performers." We've added a new stage this year dedicated to Techno, Club, Dance, Trance, and Urban music called the "Entry Stage." We're still accepting bands as Standby and Hot Backup Bands for all six Park Rock stages. Mark your calendar for Saturday, August 30th, and Sunday, 31st, to Rock in the Park!
It is now 1 Nov, Two months has passed since Park Rock 2007. Our 5th year had our highest attendance and best vendor support. Thanks to all the bands who played at Park Rock, some got to play 3 sets! Thanks to all the volunteer who help run the stage, admissions gate, PJMA merch booth, setup, clean up, takedown, and staffed the headquarters.

We are counting down the last 5 days to Park Rock Fest 2007. There has been a lot of changes in the Music Program bringing in new and old bands. We are having good interest by the community vendor and community groups, so here to we have a good number of reservations for the community center. The weather forecast is for a beautiful weekend with sun and mild temperatures. This will be the best ever Park Rock and no one should miss this years event. Both days are jam packed with world class talent. So plan to make a weekend attending Park Rock fom 10 AM to 10 PM!
It is now less than thirty days to Park Rock Fest 2007. The big poster came out in print back in June and is being posted in ever store front we can in southern Maryland. Advance tickets went on sale right after the 4th of July in all the regional music stores. The preliminary band list was created back in May and there has only been a few minor changes. We are currently working of the final program. The band that make this final cut will be appearing on the Park Rock Fan T-Shirt and at Park Rock. The 97.7 Rocket has been hired to broadcast advertisements for the event the week before the fest and the will be on site for a live broadcast The sponsor, vendors and community groups are signing up and we expect a broad selection of food, goods and services for the fans to take in. The Park Rock Fest 2007 will be held on 1 & 2 Sept 2007 at Chancellors Run Regional Park in Saint. Mary's County Maryland. We have been working on this years event immediately after the close of last years event in Sept 2006. We have been accepting booking of bands and far we have almost all the stages filed with bands. We have groups from as far north in Boston to South in Miami.. Of course our largest numbers of bands come from the St. Mary's, Calvert, and Charles County. The list of band on the site is who is booked, we will be working on the program in May and the site will be updated afterward.
The Park Rock Committee is meeting month on the 3rd Sunday of each month, the next meeting is on 18 March at 3:00 PM, We have several openings in the committee at show on the page Volunteering Page. To participate in the meeting or volunteer send an e-mail to fred@pjma.info
